RAMP GENERAL MEETING THIS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 11
Refugee Assistance Morris Partners (RAMP) will be holding a general meeting this Thursday evening at 7pm in the Parish Hall of St Peter’s Church in Morristown. This is an exciting time for RAMP with the arrival of a third family. If you've been interested in what RAMP is doing, it's an ideal time to learn more. COMMUNITY SOUP KITCHEN’S HUNGER WALK

Bring your family, friends (and even your dog!) to the Hunger Walk
It's a fun filled day that has a huge impact on your community. Your participation will help our homeless and working poor neighbors, 365 days a year. Each student who participates receives 4 hours of community service!
Walk starts at the Community Soup Kitchen/Redeemer Church, 36 South Street, Morristown

COMMUNITY SOUP KITCHEN NEWS
If you'd like to work in the kitchen helping to prepare the meal you need to become a "Black Shirt", which involves training to understand food safety- plus you'll get a spiffy black t-shirt to signify your kitchen status. Black Shirts arrive before the servers to bring groceries supplied by BCC and to help prepare the day's lunch. If you'd like to become a Black Shirt, the next training will be Sunday November 18 from 1:00 - 2:00pm. Please text Judy Schryver at 973-727-1480 if you'd like to join the elite rank of Black Shirt!

We will host an Open House at 4 pm on Sunday, November 18, to show our church community the newly upgraded Anderson Wing and to invite the community in so they can see our space (which is now available for users of all kinds.) Refreshments will be served and childcare will be provided.
