We will decorate the sanctuary during our morning worship on the first Sunday in Advent, December 2, with the Hanging of the Greens Service. This will be a special Sunday where the Adult Choir and the Brook Singers lead the congregation in song as we prepare for the birth of Jesus.  Mark this date on your calendar as a Sunday you don’t want to miss!

BLUE CHRISTMAS SERVICE
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21 AT 6:30PM

Blue? Yes, blue as in the blues. As in "I am feeling blue." Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays. Dealing with the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce or separation, coping with the loss of a job, living with cancer or some other disease that puts a question mark over the future, and a number of other human situations make parties and joviality painful for many people in our congregations and communities. At Brookside this year, we will be holding a more contemplative service for those who are blue at Christmas. This will be a sacred space for anyone who would appreciate a more reflective time to accept where we really are and to offer ourselves to be present in prayer for those who need healing and hope.

CHRISTMAS EVE
MONDAY, DECEMBER 24
4PM - FAMILY CHRISTMAS SERVICE
8PM - CANDLELIGHT SERVICE

This year Brookside Church will be hosting two Christmas Eve Services. The first will be a fun and information family Christmas service on December 24 @ 4pm. The second will be our traditional Candlelight Service at 8pm. We hope to see you there!
