CHRISTMAS PAGEANT: SUNDAY, DECEMBER 16 AT 9:30AM
Join us during our Sunday service on December 16 as we get into the Christmas spirit and celebrate as a community. The service will be filled with holiday carols, and we will enter into the story of Christ’s birth as the children present their Christmas pageant.
In the spirit of making our Children’s Christmas Pageant accessible and fun for children of all ages and abilities, we will have costumes ready at Brookside Sunday morning (12/16) AND we also invite children who would rather come dressed and ready in their own costumes from home that morning to do so. There will be plenty of “parts” and costumes for everyone, including visitors and guests.
If you have questions please contact Pastor Lois:

BLUE CHRISTMAS SERVICE
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21 AT 6:30PM
Blue? Yes, blue as in the blues. As in "I am feeling blue." Not everyone is up and cheery for the Christmas holidays. Dealing with the death of a loved one, facing life after divorce or separation, coping with the loss of a job, living with cancer or some other disease that puts a question mark over the future, and a number of other human situations make parties and joviality painful for many people in our congregations and communities. At Brookside this year, we will be holding a more contemplative service for those who are blue at Christmas. This will be a sacred space for anyone who would appreciate a more reflective time to accept where we really are and to offer ourselves to be present in prayer for those who need healing and hope.
This year Brookside Church will be hosting two Christmas Eve Services. The first will be a fun and information family Christmas service on December 24 @ 4pm. The second will be our traditional Candlelight Service at 8pm. We hope to see you there!
