ATTN: Special Congregational Meeting—Sunday, Oct 7th
Following our Communion Service on Sunday, October 7th, Brookside Church will kick off our Fall 2018 Stewardship Drive with a special congregational meeting. Pastor Lois and Amy will have activities for the children.
During this short meeting, we will have a presentation that will highlight the things we most value about our congregation and what resources are needed for us to be at our very best together. Based on a new stewardship strategy that emphasizes transparency and broader participation, this meeting will be led by our Interim Minister, Rev. Michael Howard, and our Moderator, Paul Breda.
It will not only be very informative but exciting and energizing, challenging us to imagine all the things our congregation can become together.
Mark your calendars and spread the word: Sunday, October 7th, following our Communion Sunday service.
Good News: RAMP is welcoming a 3rd refugee family to Morris County on Sept 27th. Anyone who has time to: help coordinate furnishings for their apartment, has a truck to assist in moving furniture, or has gently used fall and winter clothing can notify Mark Brumbaugh at firstname.lastname@example.org and he will get them in touch with the appropriate support team people.
